A standard container is based on the dimensions specified in ISO standard 668, which were defined back in the 1960s. These sizes are based on the first internationally standardised 20-foot container with a length of 6.058 m and a width of 2.438 m - still the basis for worldwide sea freight today. The FAGSI ProECO is also based on this proven principle. As a cost-effective solution, it offers precisely these dimensions and transfers the advantages of standardised container technology to building construction.
