Quickly built, thoughtfully planned
When new daycare places have to be created at short notice, there is often little time for planning. And yet it is crucial that the rooms are not only functional, but also child-friendly, safe and inclusive. After all, a kindergarten is far more than just a childcare facility. It is a central educational centre for the youngest members of our society. Children often play, learn and live here all day long. The space influences their well-being, their development and their relationships with others - every day anew.
In order for children to develop, they need spaces that offer a sense of security and orientation, but also create incentives for discovery, movement and learning. This includes pleasant acoustics, plenty of daylight, flexible group rooms, safe places to retreat to and age-appropriate equipment. This also applies to temporary buildings that have to be planned and realised in a short space of time.
At the same time, it is now a matter of course that daycare centres are designed to be barrier-free and inclusive. All children should be able to participate, regardless of their physical, mental or social circumstances. Temporary solutions must therefore offer low-barrier access, sufficient movement areas, suitable sanitary facilities and a well thought-out room structure that also includes children with support needs.
Our temporary container facilities can provide all of this, as they are not designed as temporary solutions but as fully-fledged educational spaces. This creates kindergartens where children feel safe and welcome, even when things have to move quickly.
